    • Earned 1st Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under Grand Master Hyun Ok Shin.
    • Studied USA Goju under Grand Master Peter Urban
    • Studied Nisei Goju under Shihan Frank Ruiz and Shihan Harry Rosenstein
    • Studied Chinese Goju under Shidoshi Ron Van Clief.
    • Founded the Elite Goju Karate-Jutsu System in 1993.
    • Has trained over one hundred Black Belts over the past 40 years.
    • Has promoted three students to the level of Kyoshi. ( Kyoshi Scott Miller, Kyoshi Tom Sussman and
        Kyoshi Bob Iglesias ) Each of whom studied for 25 years or more, and whose accomplishments are numerous.
    • Currently trains only advanced ranking students in Full-Contact fighting, self defense, and sparring techniques,         applications, and strategies.

     Our school is unique in that we train very hard and our fighting techniques, which are the main part of our training, are very different from other schools. Black Belts from many other schools have come to our school to train from time to time. Some have stayed with us for many years.

     In my early years I fought in many tournaments. I did very well but do not believe in tournaments for many reasons. I believe that the better fighter does not always win in tournaments where there is a point system. We fight in a realistic way at our dojo so as a result we stay away from tournaments with a point system. We always welcome Black Belts from other dojo to stop in and work out with us so that we might share our different techniques with each other.
